The State of the Delphi Job Market

I've been monitoring Delphi jobs for several months on several online sites
and there haven't been any ads at all in my area (Upstate NY). I'm curious
how the Delphi job market is in other parts of the USA and the world. Has
anyone investigated recently?

BTW, it's more than just idle curiosity because I resigned from my job of 7
years which was comprised mostly of Delphi. The system I was maintaining is
being replaced by a totally different one (Progress DB / 4GL).

Its a little strange,

If we can not discussion job on "delphi.jobs"

then we should have a group called "delph.job_discussion".


Because its very important information for some of us

and there are too much too much others topics in "delphi.non-technical".

I seen a comeback of demand last year, BUT and that is a big but. That
may be more the fact that very few have graduated in comp sci since
9/11. For us dinosaures there is new life on the market place.
